Tooth & Tide comes from a life lived in the ocean. Jordan has dedicated her adult life to working with sharks, sharing the water with them and helping others experience their true nature.

Sharks naturally lose and replace teeth throughout their lives. During a feeding event, a tooth can loosen, leave the shark’s mouth and begin falling toward the ocean floor.

Sometimes, Jordan is there when it happens.

When she sees a tooth fall, she dives after it sometimes more than 60 feet to retrieve it before it disappears below. The shark swims away alive and well, and the tooth begins a completely different journey.

Back at her workbench, Jordan cleans each tooth, studies its individual shape and decides what it should become. Every piece is designed and made by hand.
