Tooth & Tide was born from a lifelong connection to the sea, a love of sharks, and the belief that the things we wear can carry the stories of the places that mean the most to us.
For Jordan, the ocean isn’t inspiration from afar. It’s where she works, where she spends her time, and where she feels most at home.
THE BEGINNING
IT STARTED WITH A PAIR OF EARRINGS.
Jordan has been collecting shark teeth since she was eight years old. By adulthood, she had thousands.
Then one day, a hurricane kept her from working on the water. With some unexpected time on her hands, she made a pair of shark tooth earrings for fun and posted them to her Instagram story.
She forgot about them.
A few hours later, she came back to around 30 messages from people asking if she was selling them.
Her answer?
Sure. Why not?
That was the beginning of Tooth & Tide.
What started almost accidentally became another way for Jordan to share the ocean she had already built her life around.

Jordan has spent her adult life working around the world on the ocean—from Hawaii and the Bahamas to Honduras and now South Florida.
For the last six years, much of that life has revolved around sharks.
She works in the water with them, introduces people to them, and helps change the perception of animals too often portrayed as something to fear.
People often expect shark diving to be an adrenaline rush.
What they discover is something entirely different.
It’s quiet. Mesmerizing. Almost meditative.
People enter the water nervous and climb back aboard talking about how peaceful the experience was.
After years of doing it, Jordan still feels lucky every time she gets into the water.
FROM SHARK TO SEA
COLLECTED AS THEY FALL.
Sharks naturally lose and replace teeth throughout their lives. During a feeding event, a tooth can loosen, leave the shark’s mouth, and begin falling toward the ocean floor.
Sometimes, Jordan is there when it happens.
When she sees a tooth fall, she goes after it.
She has dove to retrieve a single falling tooth before it disappears into the depths surfacing with something that was naturally shed only moments before.
The shark swims away alive and well.
The tooth begins a completely different journey.
Back on land, Jordan cleans each tooth and studies its individual shape before deciding what it should become. Every piece is then designed and made by hand.

FROM OCEAN TO WORKBENCH
EVERY PIECE STARTS WITH A STORY.
Once a tooth makes its way from the ocean to Jordan’s hands, the next part of its story begins at her workbench.
Each tooth is cleaned and studied individually. No two are exactly alike—the shape, size, color, and character of each one help determine what it will become.
A ring. A necklace. A bracelet. Or something completely original.
Then Jordan makes it by hand.
Hours are spent at the bench shaping metal, refining details, and turning something discovered beneath the surface into something meant to be worn.
Alongside shark teeth, Jordan works with shells, sea glass, and other ocean-found materials she has collected herself or received from friends who share her connection to the sea.
Nothing mass produced. Nothing exactly repeated.
Just pieces shaped by the ocean and finished by hand.
The ocean creates the first chapter. Jordan writes the next.
